27.02.2007 - Executive Committee meeting

On 27 February 2007, at 8 a. m. the last Executive Committee meeting of the current term took place at the seat of the Association in Torun. The debates were led by Maciej Trojnarski, the President of the Association. The quorum required by the Statute took part in the session.

The programme of the meeting included, among other things:
1. Acceptance of the Agenda.
2. Discussion of minutes from previous Executive Committee meeting.
3. Conclusions from the Team of Technical Experts meeting on survey research of pipes.
4. Discussion of the Executive Committee activity report for the years 2005 - 2006.
5. Presentation of a report on the audit conducted in the company KWH Pipe Poland Ltd.
6. Voting on admission of the company KWH Pipe Poland Ltd. as a Supporting Member of the Association, as well as representatives of the company as Ordinary Members.
7. Approval of draft resolutions for the General Assembly.

Members of the Executive Committee unanimously approved the proposed agenda and had no remarks on the minutes from the Executive Committee meeting on 8 January 2007.

Afterwards conclusions from the Team of Technical Experts meeting on survey research of pipes were discussed. The meeting took place on 8 February 2007, at the Local Branch of IPTS Metalchem in Gliwice, in order to discuss the survey research results of pipes. The companies from outside of the Association, which pipes were examined, were informed in writing of the fact of conducting research and of the obtained results incompatible with the requirements. Moreover each of the companies separately was invited to the Insitute to become familiar with the results of research. The Executive Committee decided to repeat the research in the second half of 2007.

Members of the Executive Committee became familiar with the audit report, which was conducted on 13 February 2007 in the company KWH Pipe Poland Ltd. The Executive Committee admited the company KWH Pipe Poland Ltd. from Warsaw as a Supporting Member of the Association, because the company met the requirements specified in the Association Statute as well as requirements included in Criteria for admission of new Members. The Executive Committee, acting on the basis of the Statute, admited two representatives of the company KWH Pipe Poland Ltd. as Ordinary Members of the Association.
Members of the Executive Committee discussed the Executive Committee activity report for the years 2005 - 2006, as well as they accepted draft resolutions for the General Assembly on 27 February 2007.
In conclusion of the session, the President of the Executive Committee thanked all Members of the Executive Committee for fruitful work in the last term.
