26.05.2006 - Executive Committee meeting

For the second time this year, on 26 May 2006, the Executive Committee meeting took place this time at the company Kaczmarek in Malewo.
The debates were led by Maciej Trojnarski, the President of the Association. Except Members of the Executive Committee, Roel van't Veer - the General Manager of the organisation Teppfa and Janusz Zadrosz - the representative of Teppfa in Poland also participated in the session.
In the first part of the session the pronouncement of Roel van't Veer was listened to. He introduced the organization Teppfa, its aims, thematic ranges and Teppfa's expectation from the Association.

The debates of the second part of the session related to the following matters:
• Resolution was resolved on the subject of a standpoint in the range of the quality mark worked out by the Quality Mark Team,
• Question of survey examinations of the quality of installation products from plastic present on the Polish market was discussed. The carrying out of such examinations was recognised as purposeful. Choice of the assortment of products for examinations and the determination of the range of examinations will be made on the next Executive Committee meeting and the results will be used for the internal aims of the Association,
• Problem of promotion of products in a way compliant with the Act on Combating Unfair Competition was mentioned. The attention was directed to the necessity of supervision over methods and ways of promotion and marketing activities of representatives from respective firms and not applying dishonest methods of work.
• Degree of realization of the plan of costs of the Association's activity and the degree of realization of the programme of the Association's activity in the year 2006 were discussed,
• Report of the representative of the Association on the session WG 13 CEN / TC 155 in Vienna, Austria as well on the plenary session CEN / TC 155 in Hergiswil, Switzerland, was listened to.
• Matters connected with foreseen training in the range of protection of the industrial property were discussed. It was emphasized that there was a possibility of rendering patent services by the Association for its Members both in matters connected with the current service and in controversial matters.

At the end of the session, the chairman of the Meeting, the President Maciej Trojnarski warmly thanked Andrzej Kaczmarek in the name of Members of the Executive Committee and his own, for the possibility of visiting the Production Plant in Piaski and Production Plant in Malewo and for making the elegant building of the firm's Kaczmarek S.J. accessible to the Executive Committee Meeting.
The next Executive Committee Meeting is planned on 19 September 2006 at about 9 o'clock in the seat of the Association in Toruń.
