Criteria for admission of supporting members to
The Polish Association of Plastic Pipes
and Fittings Producers
resolved by the General Assembly on 24 March 2009
A company may become a supporting member of the Association if the company meets jointly the following conditions:
The main profile of activity is production of thermoplastic plastic pipes or fittings in the area of Poland.
Products offered by the firm fulfil the requirements of the Polish Law (the Building Products Act and the corresponding executive regulations).
The company will get the recommendation of at least a half of the Association supporting members.
The firm will commit itself to observe the Statute, as well as the resolutions of the Association (particularly the resolution on a ban on the use of lead stabilizers in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) water pipes from 1 January 2007).
The firm will pay the inscription fee of 50,000 PLN. In justified cases, on application of the interested company, the inscription fee may be reduced as a result of a decision of the Executive Committee.
6. The company will assent to the audit aimed at verifying compliance of the company's products with the requirements of the Polish law and the resolutions of the Association. The audit will be conducted by a team appointed by the Executive Committee. The positive result of the audit is a condition of admission.
