The main purpose of the Association is to conduct an activity which integrates the environment of plastic pipes and fittings producers. The purpose is accomplished among other things by representing this environment before the state and legislative authorities, as well as before national and international organizations on issues related to legal and normalization regulations, as well as directives and recommendations in the area of production, use and recycling of plastic pipes and fittings.
The purpose of the Association is also:
Popularization of plastic pipes and fittings as environment-friendly products, as well as preparing and making information on possibilities and rules for the use and production of them available.
Guiding and supporting research and development activities in the area of production, use and recycling of plastics pipes and fittings, as well as in the field of marketing analyses.
Working out and publication of announcements and recommendations relating to technical matters of production and use of plastics pipes and fittings.
Conducting cooperation in the range of working groups aiming at working out guidances for assembly operations of plastic pipes and fittings.
Conducting activity within the scope of improvement of quality and improvement of methods of production of plastic pipes and fittings.
Organization of conferences, scientific seminars and trainings in the thematic area of the Association activity, conducting popularizing and publishing activities.
